A long time ago in Africa, different tribes from all over the continent wore bangles made from the hairs of the mighty elephant’s tail. Hundreds of years later, the Mavros boys (a wonderful family we’ve befriended) have revived the myth of the original 3-strand bangle by fashioning this ancient heirloom of Africa’s great warriors in sterling silver. The sliding knot, designed by the ancient craftsmen of Africa, allows the wearer to adjust the bangle to size. The unique double bend in the centre of the bangle is the ”medallion” of the original 3-strand bangle. Handmade in Mauritius.
