Hear the word “moccasin” and your mind may wander to a pair of well-worn house slippers your father once owned. We’re quite sure his were a far cry from ours. These were uncovered after we found our way to a fifth generation family-owned company that makes the genuine article and has little interest in speedy production. The process of crafting this footwear is done by hand – cutting, skiving, stitching and sewing — these time-honored techniques are present in each pair. All styles have a one-piece vamp, which wraps around the entire foot and is then hand-sewn to the tip with locked stitches. Suitable for wearing outdoors thanks to the water-resistant leather, a rich natural brown with a pebbled texture. The insides are fully-lined with top grade deerskin. The cushioned beds are absurdly comfortable. Leather sole. Made in USA. Brown.
