Yes, we know everyone’s got a safari vest. As a bit of inspiration, I stole one out of Burt Avedon’s closet (sorry Burt). A few things that came from it…Ours actually works, is made of a mid weight, durable cotton canvas, has been tested in Africa and wasn’t designed to look pretty on a mannequin on Madison Ave. No offense, but you all know who you are. We don’t design for some show or our “idea” of what Africa is. We simply design to function and perform. This vest can be taken right from the package it comes in to its full potential in the bush. And if you’re talking about stalking dangerous game in Africa, it damn well better function. Bellows pockets with additional side entry, suede trim, and cartridge loops big enough for a .375 H&H if need be. Imported.
