The inspiration came while listening to some old timers discuss the validity of "deer season" in the UP (turns out no one really cares what the season is). Just so happens the guy had this fantastic wool checked hunting coat. Of course, his was wonderfully worn and you could tell it had seen many a hunting season. Ours starts with a great wool blend fabric that mimics the original, the color is rich and the oversized plaid is classic. There's a front chest pocket with shell holder pocket, with working bellows, brass snaps on all of the pockets, single vent in back and corozo buttons on the placket. Fully quilted lining and ready for "deer season". Imported.
